Pacing Companion
Web app, works offline, health diary
Coming soon Working name
A pacing and symptom diary for people with post-exertional malaise, built to work on bad days.
Where it stands
Feature-complete for a first beta. Before launch it needs a final name, the production signing key, a contact address for free codes and a short legal review of its privacy pages.
Pacing Companion is an offline web app for people with ME/CFS, long COVID, POTS or other conditions where overdoing it costs days. Check in with one tap, plan your day around an energy envelope you set, see patterns in what you logged, and print a one-page summary to take to appointments.
Who it's for
People with ME/CFS, long COVID, POTS or other conditions where overdoing it costs days, who want a calm, low-effort way to track and plan.
What it does
- A one-tap daily check-in built for bad days: energy, symptoms, a crash or flare mark and a note, each saved on its own tap, and "same as yesterday" in one tap.
- An energy envelope planner with your own activity costs. Going over gets a gentle note, never a warning. No streaks and no scores.
- Patterns that describe what you logged, including each crash or flare with the three days before it.
- A one-page summary to print or save as a PDF for appointments.
- Made for low-energy days: large targets, light, dark and high-contrast themes, bigger text, reduced motion and full keyboard and screen reader support.
- Works offline with no account, with JSON backup, CSV export and import, and delete everything.

- No. It's a personal diary and planning tool. Its patterns describe what you logged and never claim to know why something happened.
