Prop Press
One HTML file, works offline, tabletop game tools
Coming soon Working name
Newspapers, letters, wanted posters and more for your tabletop game, ready to print.
Where it stands
Feature-complete for a first release. Before it goes on sale it needs a print test on real paper, a live Foundry import, signing keys, a name check and the legal text.
Prop Press makes newspaper front pages, sealed letters, wanted posters, bounty boards, shop receipts and annotated maps for your game, each in two styles. Fill in a short form, watch the page update as you type, then print it, save a PNG or send it to Foundry VTT. The whole thing is one HTML file that works offline.
Who it's for
Game masters who want handouts that look like they belong in the world, without desktop publishing software or a subscription.
What it does
- Six props, two styles each: newspaper front page, letter or sealed note, wanted poster, bounty board, shop receipt, and map with notes.
- A form for each prop with character counters and a live preview of the real page.
- US Letter and A4, with a fit check that names any field that will not fit before you print.
- Print or save as PDF, PNG export at any width with alt text to copy, and a Foundry VTT journal export.
- Project files that save and reopen a prop, images included.
- A readable mode (clear serif, dark ink, plain paper) for players with low vision or dyslexia, light, dark and high contrast themes, and full keyboard use.
- Template packs that are signed by their maker, checked on your device and never able to run code.
